At Amblecote, we offer a wide range of clubs (some take place after school and others during the day) which provide children with valuable opportunities to further explore interests both those covered within and those outside of the national curriculum. These include art, gardening, games, cooking, craft, fitness, French, Spanish, choir, recorders and many more. Below, you can find an example of some of the clubs we offer throughout the year.  

These extracurricular activities complement academic learning by offering a well-rounded approach to education, while also providing pupils with essential life skills and interests that can last a lifetime. 

The range and type of clubs offered is reviewed regularly and changed meeting the requests of children and parents.  Some clubs have a nominal charge.  All children are encouraged to attend clubs to broaden their experience and make a positive contribution to the school.

We would like every child at Amblecote to have the opportunity to participate in the clubs that we offer.  To support this, all children entitled to FSM can attend our after school clubs free of charge.

We regularly ask our children what clubs they would like us to provide, and where possible we endeavour to arrange these.
